Dog Care Program
Our primary service to you is boarding and caring for your dog(s) in a happy, safe and comfortable environment while you are away. The great part is the fun your dog can have in the process.Supervised social dog groups is one of the ways we keep the dogs relaxed during their stay with us. While being supervised, the dogs can wander freely with multiple dogs and play with their pals. This routine engages their minds and bodies. Even older or less active dogs can benefit by relaxing in a group setting.
Many dogs who come for care are already very well socialized, ready and eager to join in group activities and enjoy their stay. Others may not yet have experienced the joy of canine companionship and only need a little help to integrate well.
We have a simple screening process we call "enrollment." This allows us to assess your dog's readiness for this style of care. Sometimes a few questions and answers over the phone is all that is needed. Other times it may be recommended that you come with your dog for a visit or consider booking for daycare or an overnight "trial board" before considering a long stay.
Canine Consulting
Christine Yake is on staff here at our kennel and is indispensable as she works hands on with the dogs as well as overseeing our Dog Care Program. Christine is gifted in her keen awareness of the canine social system and human/canine relations. She is available for private consultation by appointment here at the kennel or in your home environment with you and/or other family members.Behavioral Consultation
Christine offers a free consultation to discuss life with your dog. This is an opportunity for you to discuss with Christine the overall well being of your pet and the role he or she plays in your family. Often little "trouble spots" will come to light which can be solved. Our Office Hour PolicyOur office hours are the times we are open for visits or check-ins and check-outs.We do not accept customers outside regular business hours except in the case of a serious family or medical emergency. We must keep strict hours in order to maintain the high standard of care that we provide. |
